Dear Elmira,It is nice to know you saw my message about Disneyland that I sent to your pr address at ru.I am guessing you are quite busy.I have a practical career idea for you. Please forgive me if I do not speak about opera, although your singing at the March 17 concert shows you could have a beautiful opera career. I think opera is great for those with beautiful voices but the audience is limited to an upper class. It is like digging a hole and sitting in the hole with 30 people listening. Superior people will tell you how beautiful your voice is, and thenyou can teach music and disappear like other superior singers.I see something much more fun for you. I think you can sing songs for a world audience of millions who understand the songs that reach deep. You have a range and voice power like our Barbra Streisand, and a delicate soft tone like Judy Garland. You will see if you perform here, others will make this comparison to Judy Garland like I do now. A famous American once said this: "Make no little plans. They have no magic to stir men's blood". You are not just abeautiful singer. You are magic. You can give that magic to the world. Moscow is not enough. Dream again.A few years ago I had a radio show and I played Broadway musical songs every week. That genre is a small piece of music, but it made a big impression on the souls of people everywhere in the world. Millions of people came from Europe and Asia thinking America was wonderfulbecause of that music. Both Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland became famous by singing those songs, and Streisand is the most successful entertainer in the world because of it.I think you should create a portfolio of American songs from our Broadway musicals, and when you have a good mix, you can explode into American music like Streisand. Writers will actually write musical movies just for you, like they did for Streisand. Here are some of the songs I think you should look at: I Could Have Danced All Night (from My Fair Lady), Singing In The Rain (Singing in the Rain), I Will Wait For You (Umbrellas of Cherbourg- ConnieFrancis), Somewhere Over The Rainbow (The Wizard of Oz), I'm Dreaming of A White Christmas (White Christmas), Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (Meet Me In Saint Louis). (You can prepare New York, New York (On The Town) as a closing song at the end of applause when you sing in New York City, and the audience will go crazy.) My favorite is the song my mother sang for me when I was a baby. It is not from Broadway: You Are MySunshine. When you have these, you should send your video recordings to Barbra Streisand and ask for her advice. She will help you. She will give you a gift of friendship and advice. The American musicals created the most deeply moving songs, and the songs most filled with joy. Many of those old songs were written by Russians. They carried with them a culture of feeling that a modern superficial American culture does not have any more. American songs andBroadway shows are now short and boring. Most Americans do not even know what is missing from this culture. They just know something is empty here. Americans are quick to go to war because of this. There is nothing meaningful in their lives because events are cold and people have lost their feelings. They try to prove something is important by beating someone else.Do you see why you are important? You pull our hearts to the surface. All the world has lost feelings. People are numb and the modern music is painful. It is the same everywhere in the world, except in the theatres of the Kubanski Choir in Russia, and on any stage with you.The best Americans are not the third or fourth generation Americans. The best are the ones who just got here from Russia, and China, and Spain, who bring here the best of their cultures. Those are the ones who made the old music. When Americans hear your voice, they will be proud to be Americans because they will feel their hearts again. Feeling will be more important than winning another war. Just by singing you can save people's lives. When Russians hear your voice they are proud to be Russians because you remind them of their feelings. When anyone who has loved and lost hears your voice, they pray to their God in gratitude for the love they once had. No one in the world can do this like you. We do not come to this life to win. We come here to love. You remind us of this mission from God, when you sing.Melevery3houses@gmail.com
